How You Can Help

As we are still in the planning stages, there are many ways in which you can help. If you have business expertise you can offer, we would love to hear from you. If you have fundraising experience and/or ideas, we would welcome your assistance.

If you have household items (e.g. kitchen items, furniture, decorative items etc.) or assistive devices (e.g. commodes, shower chairs etc.), entertainment/learning items (e.g. books, musical items, music, movies etc.) that you no longer have use for, we would gratefully accept your donations.

Volunteer Opportunites

In our planning stages, we welcome volunteers to assist with research and fundraising activities. Please feel free to contact us to discuss how you could assist with these activities.

When the home is open, we will welcome volunteers to assist with home upkeep and assisting residents with activities within the home, and possibly for excursions. We are hoping to establish relationships with local high schools and Niagara College for volunteer (community service hours) opportunities, as well as for co-op placements. If this would be of interest to you, please feel free to contact us to discuss further how this may work in the Fall upon our opening.
