LOVING

Love can be defined in many ways, differently for different people and situations. Love can encompass a number of emotions related to a sense of strong attachment and affection. Love usually refers to a deep feeling of tenderly caring for another person. This could be the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love or the non-sexual emotional closeness of familial and platonic love. In Grace Home, we aim for a feeling of familial love and closeness. Though our residents are not with their own families, we strive to make everyone in the home feel as though we are an extended family. We also encourage residents and their families to continue to build and maintain closeness and familial love despite no longer living together. We also invite our resident's families to spend time in the home with us, sharing activities, meals, spare time, further extending our "family".
